ToadzGang

Creator / Designer / Developer

Created ToadzGang, a Web3 collectibles project built around 10,000 unique cosmic toads, a psychedelic visual world, a minting experience, community channels, lore, roadmap, trait system, and launch site.

The Idea

ToadzGang started as a playful experiment in turning an internet-native visual idea into a complete collectible world.

The project was not only about making a set of NFT images. The interesting part was the whole system around the collection: a recognizable character universe, a story people could enter, a minting path, community channels, rarity and trait logic, and a public roadmap that made the project feel alive before the collection existed in anyone's wallet.

The creative hook was simple: cosmic Sonoran Desert Toads moving through portals, balancing a strange multiverse, and bringing people into a psychedelic collector community.

Why It Existed

The rationale was to learn the full loop of a consumer crypto launch by building one directly.

NFT projects at the time were part product, part brand, part game mechanic, part community ritual. A strong launch needed more than art. It needed a reason to care, a world that could expand, an acquisition surface, collector psychology, community momentum, and enough technical scaffolding to make the drop feel real.

ToadzGang gave me a way to work across all of that at once.

What I Built

  • Created the core concept, positioning, and visual direction for the collection.
  • Designed the landing page, psychedelic brand system, art presentation, and collector-facing experience.
  • Built the public web presence around the collection, story, roadmap, FAQ, team section, and minting call to action.
  • Shaped the collection structure around 10,000 unique Toadz with trait and rarity logic.
  • Developed the lore around cosmic toads, portals, the multiverse, and the first character stories.
  • Set up the community launch motion across Twitter, Instagram, and Discord.
  • Framed the roadmap around social launch, whitelist giveaways, minting, merchandise, holder rewards, and future collection expansion.

Product Lessons

ToadzGang was useful because it compressed a lot of product lessons into one strange, colorful launch.

I had to think about first impressions, visual identity, user trust, community energy, pricing, scarcity, storytelling, incentives, and technical feasibility at the same time. A collector needed to understand what the project was, why it existed, what made the assets distinct, and what might happen after minting.

That is a very product-shaped problem. The surface area was Web3, but the underlying work was the same loop I keep returning to: make something legible, make it emotionally resonant, make the next action obvious, then learn from whether people care.

My Role

This was not a narrow design contribution. I was the full creator behind the project experience: concept, design, development, launch narrative, collector journey, and the connective tissue between the art, website, roadmap, and community.
