Product | Engineering | AI | Healthcare

I’m a 0→1 product builder based in Vancouver. I trained as a software and biomedical engineer, and over the past few years I’ve worked professionally as a product manager, though I still think and operate like an engineer who wants to ship.

That combination has pulled me toward products where software, healthcare, and AI meet: web platforms, mobile apps, medical devices, and clinical AI tools.

I started as a self-taught programmer, launched a small web agency at 18, and have since co-founded and built products from scratch. I really enjoy the full cycle: user discovery and interviews, iterating on feature usage, getting users to the first aha moment, and figuring out how to market and sell something people want to use, from insight to activation to retention. I move between that, hands-on engineering, and keeping teams focused on what actually solves the problem.

My philosophy is simple: strong taste, clear thinking, and as little unnecessary complexity as possible. I’m usually exploring a side project, a new venture, or a question that connects technology back to real human problems.

Experience

Founder

Wavo Health

Built an ambient AI medical scribe available on web, iOS, and Android, powered by a real-time database for seamless cross-device sync. Fine-tuned LLMs for clinical documentation across 80+ specialties — transcription, structured notes, ICD-10/CPT coding, and an AI clinical assistant. HIPAA/PIPEDA compliant with E2E encryption.

Product → CX

Clarius Mobile Health

First product hire. Contributed to launching HD and HD3 hardware scanners with the Clarius mobile app (iOS/Android) and cloud platform. Launched the Clarius Membership alongside HD3 — a SaaS subscription bundling advanced software, cloud features, and AI imaging functionality. Partnered with data science on AI model development. Founded the CX department to optimize the full customer journey, leveraging LLMs to automate key processes (~90% membership conversion, +$1.5M revenue).

Senior Product Manager - AI

Medme Health

Led AI scribe team from early discovery interviews through beta testing. Built working prototypes across multiple iterations before handing off to engineering for production. Collected 300+ data points from beta pharmacists to refine accuracy. Cut documentation from ~30 min to under 7 min, saving 400+ hours/week across 1,000+ pharmacies.

Product Lead

SOFIA

Launched telemedicine app — 10K+ downloads in 3 months, 4.5 rating. Expanded specialist network 50% in year one. Drove AI/ML adoption for data analysis.

Graduate Research Assistant

University of British Columbia

MSc in Biomedical Engineering — two years spanning hardware, software, and machine learning. Designed and built a physical cardiovascular benchtop system (servo pumps, sensors, LabVIEW real-time control with PID + feedforward). Built Python/TensorFlow machine learning models and pipelines to predict aneurysm rupture risk. Integrated CFD simulations (COMSOL, MATLAB) with machine learning for vascular treatment analysis.

Co-Founder | Product

NeighborHealth

Co-founded with 4 teammates at end of undergrad. Built the full Ruby on Rails platform — Airbnb-style booking engine, telemedicine, and provider messaging — to help patients find affordable treatments abroad. Onboarded dental clinics as the first vertical.

Full Stack Developer → Product Manager

Wizeline

Started as full-stack developer building apps with React, Node.js, and TypeScript — RESTful APIs, real-time WebSockets, CI/CD with Docker. Transitioned to product manager owning roadmap, vision, and Agile delivery across cross-functional teams.

Biomedical Technology Analyst (Intern)

Boston Scientific

Assessed medical devices across LATAM for acquisition discussions. Performed market analysis influencing strategic direction.

Biomedical Engineer (Intern)

GE HealthCare

Contributed to 25% increase in MRI sales. Installed 15+ MRI systems and trained hospital staff on operation and maintenance.
